Monsters & Myths: Surrealism and War in the 1930s and 1940s is the first major exhibition to focus on the interrelationship between Surrealism and war in both Europe and America during this period. Co-organized with the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, Connecticut, where the exhibition was first shown last year, it will also travel to the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Estate of David Smith is pleased to announce the momentous, forthcoming exhibition at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, as part of Yorkshire Sculpture International. With a limited number of works in non-US public collections, David Smith is not seen or shown in Europe as often as he is at home. This project will be the most significant display of the artist to be staged abroad since that mounted by Tate Modern in 2006.
